About
I finished a BSc in Computer Science at the University of Cape Town in March 2026, majoring in computer science and business computing. Most of what I know came from building things that had to work.
The problems I like are the ones where the engineering is hard and the person using it isn't technical at all: offline-first messaging for areas with no signal, study tools for students who can't pay for tutoring, AI assistants that do the work instead of demoing it. I mostly write TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, Java and C#.
In 2025 my team won the Entelect University Challenge, and we placed second at the Predictive Insights hackathon.
